The redevelopment of Yatesbury Airfield site offers a unique opportunity to deliver new sustainable homes for the local community. Recent comments from the Wiltshire Council Urban Design Department highlighted that ‘the context is such that the architect has freedom to be creative in the detailing of the plots and appearance, both conversion and new-build, which they have taken the opportunity to do, for the elevations and forms are bespoke and not generic housebuilder ‘products’.
