Mitchell Taylor Workshop were approached to convert an old Grade II listed inn in the centre of Frome. The client wanted to create a restaurant and bar for locals, with a boutique hotel for those wanting to spend the night. Historically known as the Angel, the inn dates back to before the Protestant Reformation. Mitchell Taylor Workshop connected the primary ground floor rooms by glazing over the Medieval street that connects the front of the building to the back. This enabled the disused barn to be transformed into a vibrant and popular restaurant connected to the original inn. The boutique hotel has six unique bedrooms with ensuites.
